Must have Unit Testing Mock FrameWork. If they've used Mockito that's great
but any tool is fine.
Oracle exp, SQL and stored procedures
SoapUI for testing WebServices
Velocity for templating (Nice to Have)
JavaScript Libraries (specifically JQuery would be great)
Demonstrated exp to work in an Agile Highly collabrative environment
Type A personality, outgoing not afraid to speak up
Be able to answer questions like: Tell me a time when you did not agree
with a design or technical decision and how you voiced your opinion. Tell
me why you designed or coded a project the way you did, how could you have
done it better now knowing what you know.

Technical skills and abilities:
In-depth knowledge of Java including JUNIT, ANT
In-depth knowledge of XML including XSLT and XPATH. Nice to have includes
PL/SQL
Deployment familiarity of J2EE
Familiarity with major database vendors such as MS SQL Server and Oracle
Knowledge of enterprise application design patterns.
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly in written
and verbal form.
Exceptional problem solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
Work with members of the project team and business owners to refine and
clarify business requirements.
Produce technical specifications and provide input into general
architectural decisions.
Provide input to assist in overall team process improvement and product
design stability.
Code and test software to meet ING DIRECT standards and within acceptable
defect tolerances of design specifications.
Work with IT and business test groups to support quality and acceptance
tests.
Provide technical leadership and mentor others in general technical skills.
Properly track progress, effort, issues, resolutions and communicate status
to project leadership
