*Mainframe with Gentran / WTX * *Location: Wayne, NJ*
*Duration: Long Term* *Rate:$Open* *An in-person interview is preferred, but the client will consider phone interviews for out of state candidates. * In addition to the Mainframes experience the candidate must have experience in IBM Gentran and or WTX. The candidate will work on both the mainframe and Unix platforms developing in IBM's Gentran and WTX translators. The candidate will be involved in every phase of the Systems Development Life Cycle. He/She must be able to interpret business and functional requirements into technical solutions utilizing existing methods. The candidate must have excellent analysis and design skills. He/She must be able to create detail technical specifications, code complex programs, effectively work with the Gentran and WTX software, create thorough test scripts, support testing efforts, and have very good problem solving skills. He/She must have excellent mainframe, Unix/Linux, Gentran, WTX, Unix Scripts, COBOL, JCL, MQ, Oracle and Easytrieve skills. *Management Skills:* The candidate must be able to work in a team environment consisting of but not limited to business analysts, quality assurance analysts, user representatives from multiple functions, external groups and support groups.
