Bayarea CA - Need Local consultant only

Job Requirements
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
• Experience in Android OS platform development, voice or video application
or conference application a big plus;
• Understanding IP networking stacks, SIP, RTP and experience with network
based application development a big plus;
• Experience with open source community a big plus;
• Excellent Java/C++ development experience, preferably in an R&D
environment;
• Skilled in configuration management tools and build environment;
• Understanding Internet protocols, software development, debug and testing;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with
researchers and lab engineers;
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering required,
Master’s degree preferred with 5 to 10 years experience developing complex
software on various different platforms, such as mobile hand-held, Linux,
OSX, Unix, Windows, etc.
Job Description
• Responsible for Android-based software/middleware, application
development and troubleshooting in an R&D environment;
• Responsible for interfacing with and supporting 3rd party and/or open
source software development projects and working closely researchers and
engineers;
• Responsible for performance analysis and improvement recommendations and
implementation;
• Willingness to work in a fast-changing environment, capable of
multi-tasking among several projects, and with a can-do attitude and
excellent of problem solving skills;
