*Job Title: Embedded Tester*
Location: Tucson, AZ
Duration: 12 months
• BS in computer science or related field
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in software testing of embedded
systems
Skills
• Experienced in testing embedded control systems
• *Knowledgeable in embedded hardware functions. E.g. Uarts,
SPI, I2C, RS-232, RS-422/485. *
• Experience with PIC processors is a big plus.
• Experienced in writing custom scripts/programs to interface
with PCBs.
• Experienced with hardware tools (oscilloscopes, logic
analyzers) for testing and debugging.
• Skilled at root-cause debugging of firmware issues, including
timing, synchronization, and performance load.
• Excellent writen and oral skills.
• Test automation is a huge plus.
Duties
• Elicit information from the team to create requirements.
• Write test strategies, test plans and test cases based upon
requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, test reveiws.
• Conduct exploratory testing and execute formalized testing.
• Assist in troubleshooting of issues and determining root cause.
