*Clinical SME / Sr. Business Analyst *
*Location: Orlando, FL*

*Job Description - Clinical SME / Sr. Business Analyst*
1. Define and / or review the standard business processes /
workflows in the Clinical and HIM functional areas as per the agreed upon
project plan.
2. Working with key business users in the above areas to present ,
compare and customize the workflows and document the final set.
3. Refine and customize the processes by analyzing the flow in
software applications used to enable that process.
4. Present and get a sign off from key business / IT users on the
processes and workflows by demonstrating an appreciation and knowledge of
the key clinical and HIM processes.
5. Project management support to the extent of meeting the timelines
, recording changes in priorities and working with the HCL internal
stakeholders to optimize the execution of the project plan.
6. Understand the HCL proprietary impact assessment and other tools
to confidently conduct demos to the IT and business users. Adequate
knowledge transfer / onsite or offshore support will be provided by HCL as
required.
7. Analyze the heat maps and other reports generated by the impact
assessment tool and convert these into a set of ICD 10 migration
recommendations working with and supported by other onsite / offshore team
members.
8. Should possess excellent knowledge of clinical, HIM processes with
special emphasis on usage of Diagnosis and Procedure codes ( ICD x). ICD
9 certification is a must , ICD 10 knowledge / certification is preferred
but not mandatory.
9. Should possess extra ordinary communication and persuasion skills,
ability to conduct and moderate meetings to meet the objectives in the
given timelines is a must.
10. A team player and a quick learner with an ability to adapt to
changing business or project requirements.
*Key Deliverables :*
1. Obtain sign off on the business process and workflows for the
agreed upon functional areas working with business and IT users.
2. Configure the signed off workflows in the HCL impact assessment
tool working with other offshore and onsite team members.
3. Generate the output from the tool and convert these into a set of
ICD 10 migration / remediation recommendations working with and supported
by onsite / offshore project team members
4. Present the recommendations and obtain a sign off from the project
sponsor.
5. Establish the importance and gain confidence of the key business
users about the ICD 10 initiative and the value HCL brings and in the
process help HCL win the next phases of the ICD program.
