*Job Description:*



We are seeking an experienced Windows Web Server Administrator to support
an existing infrastructure and support software development teams
implementing new and updated business applications.  This role requires a
combination of Windows server infrastructure expertise as well as an
understanding of application development methodology and tools.  The
successful candidate will use technical and customer service skills to
bridge the gap between application development and infrastructure
management teams.

*Skills:*

Windows Server administration, IIS 7.5 configuration or earlier versions,
SharePoint, experience supporting PeopleSoft is a plus, Active Directory.



*Required:*

·         Prefer MCSE\MCSA certifications.

·         Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of windows application support
experience including IIS and multi-tier application troubleshooting.

·         Windows 2003/2008, IIS 5/6/7/7.5, Active Directory, TCP/IP
concepts, relational DB concepts, and a familiarity of web application
architectures for 2 and three tier web applications.

·         Windows Scripting using VBScript, ISA Server, Windows Security,
Microsoft Team Foundation Server, SharePoint.

·         Knowledge and experience of insurance industry business systems
support is a plus.

·         Routing / Switching background.

·         IIS load balance, overall network concepts, DNS.

·         Web Server.

·         Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of
Windows 2000, 2003, and 2008 Terminal Services environments supporting 500+
users and multiple production applications.

·         A demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies is
critical to this role.

·         Applicants are required to have strong skills in both customer
service & computer technical support, as well as the ability to work
effectively in a technical team environment using demonstrated analytical
and troubleshooting skills as well as effective written and verbal
communications skills.
