*Title Senior Applications Developer *
- The Senior Applications Developer – J2EE will be responsible for the
design and development of strategic J2EE web applications.
- The candidate will have the opportunity to design and build J2EE
applications from the ground up and improving existing applications.
- This position involves partnering with both local and a US based team
to arrive at optimal solutions.
- Excellent technical and communication skills are a must. This position
reports to Senior , Applications Development.
*Must have Java PORTAL experience and Oracle Fusion*
*Responsibilities **
*• Developing and sustaining very large, highly available and transactional
J2EE portals and Web Services
• Design and develop middleware interfaces and integration solutions to
Oracle ERP Applications using Oracle Fusion middleware
• Provide technical guidance and mentor other developers in the team
• Follow development standards and perform design and code reviews
*Requirements **
*• 5+ years in-depth experience in core Java, Java Servlet, JDBC, JMS,
multi-threaded and JSP programming development
• 2+ years of experience working with Web Services / XML / SOAP
• Experience in Open source frameworks including Struts, Hibernate, Spring
Framework and JUnit test framework
• Solid understanding of Relational Database concepts and a minimum 3 years
work experience with either SQL Server or Oracle Database
• Strong track record of developing web applications, from inception to
delivery
• Experience working with Spring TC Server/Tomcat or application servers
like Weblogic, WebSphere or JBoss
• Prior experience with Spring MVC will be a plus
• Prior Oracle Fusion middleware experience will be a plus
• Prior experience working with globally distributed development teams is a
plus
*Certifications / Education *
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable
university
Master's degree is desirable
Developer level certifications in one of the following areas will be a plus:
