Role: ITIL/Process Control Business Analyst
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Duration: 3 months
REPORTS TO: Business Relationship Manager
DEPARTMENT: Global IS/IT
Someone with a solid ITIL background, combined with hands-on knowledge of
manufacturing process control environments, to help evangelize ITIL
concepts to our internal manufacturing business partners. This is likely
to be a 90 day engagement, location primarily Schaumburg, but potential
short term travel to T&L facilities (Decatur, etc). At a minimum, the
resource has to be ITIL V3 certified at some level beyond foundations
(manager or expert).
Travel outside of Chicago would be covered as a reimbursable expense.
*Main Accountabilities:*

Document current state practices involving all the introduction of IT
services in manufacturing space
Identify change control improvement opportunities that Manufacturing can
implement to better allow synchronization with ITIL processes
Document processes so that Manufacturing, IS/IT and our Process Control
SI’s (e.g. Maverick) understand the specific rules and timing of Process
control changes.
Create SLA’s that accommodate the needs of both ITIL and manufacturing IT
needs
Provide benchmark process details on ITIL processes being implemented in
manufacturing PLC space
Implement relevant / modified ITIL process for manufacturing PLC group

More effective communication and clearer roles/responsibilities
On time, on schedule delivery of assigned activities.
Proactively assist in evaluation, recommendation of ITIL process
improvements for PLC manufacturing group

*Skills and Knowledge Required:*
Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, able to
engage effectively with practitioners within the organization and with
Process Control SI’s.
Thorough understanding of ITIL in general and Change Management in
particular
An understanding of process industry automation and architecture
Document process flows
Identify process improvements
Experience working within a multi-cultural environment.
Fluent in English with other spoken languages a plus.
ITIL certified a plus
