Job Title: Siebel Specialist\Developer Location: Horsham, PA (Local) Duration: 6+ Months *Phone + FTF interview* *Job Description:* Requires broad architectural knowledge of all components of applications infrastructure systems including object component and mainframe based development environments; communications technologies including middleware and open gateways; and multiple backend database technologies. Must be skilled in the design, management and oversight of multiple development efforts integrating, multiple technologies to implement the process component of a requirements based solution The Architect is a technical leadership position that requires strong application design and development skills, excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on conceptualizing and designing architectures. Must provide insight and direction from a hardware and software perspective, along with assessment of impact on technology architectural standards. · The successful candidate will have 4+ years experience with Siebel 7 configuration/development. PRM Portal experience a plus. · Will be involved in full life cycle development to enhance Siebel CRM Application (Financial Services vertical version 7.7.x), including detailed design, configuration, documentation, testing, and deployments. · Creates and executes technical design documentation and unit test plans. · Involved in mapping business requirements to vanilla Siebel functionality and identifying functional gaps and options / strategies to resolve. · Reports progress to The Hartford's management on regular basis. · Partial responsibility for supporting Siebel functionality once deployed to Production environment. · Works closely other IT teams such as Integration ,Enterprise Architecture , Analytics team and contribute to Joint design discussions · Works closely with Business Analysts and Operations to review the UI Design, flow and perform the demonstrations of the Siebel functionality *WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?* · Expertise in Siebel configuration, PRM Portal, business services, eScript, Assignment Manager, Workflow Manager, Smart Scripts, Server Administration, EIM, EAI, extending the Siebel 7 Database. Siebel 8 experience a plus · Experience with integration techniques. Create and modify business objects, applets, views, and screens and adapt business components, fields, joins, links, business component user properties, drilldowns, and visibility configuration using Siebel Tools. · Experience performance tuning application with high number of users and large databases. · Knowledge of Siebel environments, hardware configuration, architecture and security administration. · Thorough understanding of Siebel’s Best Practices an exposure to Siebel’s vanilla concepts · Experience with Oracle 10g DB a plus. · Works with little supervision on the analysis, design, coding and testing of components of larger systems. · Looking for excellent team player with strong consulting, interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills. · Education - 4 year degree or more. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- # Please includes the following information when submitting candidates.
