*Requirement*:
Position: *ETL Deeloper*
Location: *Baltimore, MD**
*Duration:* 6+ Months*
Rate: *$50/hr*
*Job Description*:
· Provide Data Warehouse Design support for Business Intelligence
applications and act as a liaison for the Data Warehouse Team between IT,
Operations and other Business units.
· Develop and implement the business logic and the ETL mechanism to
populate relational and dimensional structures.
· Automate data extraction/load programs to run on regular schedule.
· Develop database objects, stored procedures and packages, views, tables,
and triggers as needed.
· Assist in developing detailed business and technical specifications based
on project requirements and in converting business and technical
specifications into data extraction/load programs.
· Develop and assist in implementing system and unit test programs ensuring
correct application of transformation logic from source to target.
· Develop and implement automated test scripts to ensure that source system
data is accurately represented in the final reporting objects of the Data
Warehouse.
· Document all phases of work including gathering requirements, joint
relationship diagrams, database diagrams and other program technical
specifications using current specified design standards for new or revised
solution.
*Required*:
. Extensive experience with SSIS/SSRS/SSAS.
· Experience implementing ETL processes in a production data warehouse,
relational and multi-dimensional data modeling, including the use of
standard data modeling tools, preferably Erwin.
. Technical SSIS ETL experience with SQL Server 2005 writing queries,
scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
. Strong development experience with SQL Server 2005 or 2008 (T-SQL), SSAS,
SSRS.
· Experience creating custom metrics and calculated sets using MDX.
· Identify critical integration issues and develop corrective solutions.
· Mentor/Train others in business intelligence-related skills.
· Experience developing stored procedures with T-SQL.
· Sound understanding of BI Best Practices/Methodologies, relational
structures, dimensional data modeling, structured query language (SQL)
skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques.
· Experience implementing technical solutions under tight time, quality,
and performance standards.
· Knowledge of managed care, healthcare, or health insurance experience in
payer, provider or government environment a plus.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or
related field, or the equivalent experience.
· FACETS experience or other Claim systems experience a plus.
