Ab Initio Developer

6+ Months Contract

Frederick, MD





- Minimum of 5 years experience in ETL design/Data Warehouse development
using Ab Initio ETL solutions

- Experience with the party, party role and party relationship universal
data model pattern

- Strong PL/SQL, UNIX, and Shell Scripting experience is a must.

- Must be able to interpret the transformation rules and develop the
software components to support the same.

- Must have sound experience using databases such as Oracle, Teradata, DB2
or equivalent RDBMS.

- Experience designing, documenting ETL and performance tuning

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

- Data Warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies knowledge and
experience is preferred.

- Experience with Medium/Large Data Warehouse updated in *Near Real Time*.

- Involved in Ab Initio Design, Configuration experience in Ab Initio ETL,
Data Mapping, Transformation and

  loading data in a complex and high-volume environment

- Excellent Analysis and problem solving skills.

- Must work well in a collaborative, team environment as well as
independently.



Critical Qualifications

* Senior level experience with Ab Initio Design and Configuration

* Senior level experience with Data Warehousing implementation experience

* Strong PL/SQL skills



Nice to haves:

* Experience using Oracle's native CDC

* Experience using Oracle's GoldenGate product

* Experience using Quest's SharePlex product

* Experience using AutoSys
