*Sr. Oracle Architect*

Duration: 6 months




The Senior Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and
implementing application infrastructure to provide highly-complex,
reliable, and scalable applications and systems to meet the organization’s
objectives and requirements. Senior Architects are familiar with a variety
of the application technologies, environments, concepts, methodologies,
practices, and procedures and rely on experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish goals. Senior Architects are able to perform a variety of
complicated tasks with minimal or no direct supervision. They have proven
experience defining systems and application architecture and provide
vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to organization.
They consult with the client to define needs or problems, conduct research,
perform studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyze problems to advise
on or recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, or
technology of specific discipline or field of specialization.

Duties for the Health Insurance Screen Development

Responsible for all stages of System Development Lifecycle, including but
not limited to:

   - Project plan and milestone definition documentation
   - Requirements definition and documentation
   - System design
   - System coding using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and PL/SQL
   - Conducting and documenting user acceptance testing
   - Conducting and documenting system testing
   - Developing implementation plan
   - Implementing completed system
   - Training user community on the system
   - Requirements and system flow will be documented using Sparx Enterprise
   Architect
   - Responsible for interviewing user communities for system requirements

Responsible for interviewing IT staff for the following:

   - Programming/naming standards
   - Data source and requirements
   - Effected program processes involved
   - Will meet with user community to establish system requirements and
   develop requirements matrix
   - Will meet with client staff to establish how developed system will
   interface and interact with existing core system.
   - Will document user acceptance testing and system test plans.

Required / Desired Skills

   - Requirements gathering and documentation - 10 Years
   - Project planning and management - 5 Years
   - Oracle Forms 10.1.2 Development - 4 Years
   - Oracle Reports - 3 Years
   - PL/SQL - 3 Years

Other Desirable Skills:

   - Oracle Forms 11.1 Development - 1 Year
   - Sparx Enterprise Architect - 1 Year
