*Overview *
Our client is seeking an experienced business intelligence
professional to*deliver meaningful customer analytics and effective
database marketing
tools for our residential retail energy business. ***

* The Report Developer plays a key role in producing performance
dashboards, reports, and data analysis tools for our business
stakeholders. *
* *
*The Report Developer may also assist sales and marketing team members in
developing database marketing processes to optimize customer segmentation
and targeting. *
* *
*Key performance indicators produced by the report developer team play a
critical role in driving business decisions and improving business
performance.***
*Responsibilities*
*· **Deliver performance dashboards, reports, and self-service
reporting tools to facilitate business performance understanding and
customer lifecycle analyses***
*· **Define business analytics requirements in collaboration with
stakeholders from sales, marketing, pricing, and commercial teams*
*· **Advise business partners on key performance indicator
development, data interpretation, and analytics methods*
*· **Maintain customer prospect databases and implement
segmentation strategies to effectively target candidates for sales and
retention campaigns*
*· **Coordinate data delivery from list vendors and resolve
associated data quality issues; document rules and layouts for vendor
extracts*
*· **Facilitate reporting transitions associated with new market
entries, new company acquisitions, CIS integration, and data warehouse
upgrades*
*· **Optimize and automate recurring processes*
*· **Observe best practices in software development life cycle and
change control*
* *
*Qualifications*
*· **University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or
Software Engineering preferred; Microsoft SQL Server Certifications a plus**
*
· Demonstrated success in delivering business intelligence
solutions, reports, and dashboards to drive business decisions. Adept
at*data evaluation and analysis.
*
*· **Expertise in Microsoft SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, SQL Server 2005/2008,
and T-SQL required; PerformancePoint and PowerPivot also preferred*
*· **Strong knowledge of relational and multidimensional database
schemas; minimum 5 years experience in database analysis and data
integration*
· Understanding of database marketing; experience in customer
segmentation and targeting
· Retail energy experience strongly preferred; telecommunications,
financial services, or online marketing experience helpful
· Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks to tight timelines
and high quality standards, partnering closely with stakeholders and
establishing strong cross-functional relationships
