*Position: Business Analyst *

Location: Little Rock, AR

Duration: 1 year

Rate: 45/hr



The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying and recommending coding
within the software, working with client personnel during implementation of
the system, and assisting project staff with development of reports,
training material, and business process procedures. This position will also
be first-line support for case management system users.



*Minimum Qualifications *

   - The formal education of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in
   information science.
   - Three years in an IT project management environment is desired.
   - Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
   - Must have strong communication skills and organizational skills, with
   ability to multitask and respect deadlines.
   - Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft
   Office Suite are required.
   - *Knowledge of Arkansas court systems is a plus. *



*Examples of Work: *

   - Identify and recommend system codes for dockets, events, etc.
   - Assist with the development of court-generated documents and reports.
   - Assist with training of court employees on case management/jury
   management system.
   - Assist with development of training materials and business process
   materials on case and jury management.
   - Review and make recommendations for software modifications and
   development.
   - Assist court users in troubleshooting and correcting case management
   issues.
   - Other duties as assigned.

*Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills *

   - Knowledge of Arkansas appellate, limited and general jurisdiction
   courts.
   - Knowledge of Arkansas court case management practices, processes and
   procedures.
   - Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations regarding court
   administration.
   - Ability to communicate effectively with court and non-court, legal and
   non-legal, technical and non-technical staff.
   - Ability to use computer hardware and software to manage court cases.
   - Ability to operate standard office equipment.
   - Ability to provide technical assistance in person and by telephone or
   e-mail to judicial branch employees.



*Working Relationships *

The AOC Functional Architect has regular contact with elected court
officials and court staff, department staff, and other state
agency/institutions personnel. Must maintain a high degree of integrity,
decorum, and respect for court personnel at all times and possess the
ability to communicate with court personnel at all levels. This position
works closely with other technical and non-technical staff, and reports to
the Contexte Program Manager.

   - Computer Business Systems Analyst role - 5 Years
   - Experience in gathering business requirements in a development
   environment - 5 Years
   - Software Implementation Experience - 4 Years
   - Working experience with MS office tools - 6 Years
   - Basic computer skills knowledge - 3 Years
   - Knowledge of Arkansas court systems and understanding of the use of
   technology in court applications is highly desired.
