SAP Records Management, emphasis in HR Admin Services.
A client's employee's official personnel file (OPF) currently consists of
an assortment of documentation; many of these items are in hard-copy
format. This initiative will implement a comprehensive new employee process
that will change the way information in the employee's file is saved,
managed, accessed, and archived at the enterprise level.
The HR Service Center delivery model has allowed the client to centralize
certain HR operations and employee support functions. Under the purview of
the Office of Administration, Office of Human Resource and Management,
paper official personnel files (OPFs) for active employees would be
converted to electronic files and then maintained and managed as electronic
files using electronic official personnel file (E-OPF) solution. The
deployment of this initiative will help the client meet its goals for
improved employee customer service, decreased administrative costs, and
added HR value.
