*Business Development Manager*

*Duration: 6 months*

*Location: Minneapolis, MN*



Description of Responsibilities:

·         Identify new partner opportunities and gain access to key
contacts.  Engage the partner's field team and end customers to create new
joint solutions and drive revenue opportunities for BBY Open.

•     Work with existing partners to manage on-going relationshipto
achieve/exceed goals.

•     Update and maintain account information in salesforce.com

•     Identify specific partner segments and industry verticals to target
with a joint value proposition for using BBY Open.

·         Execute the business development plan while working with key
internal stakeholders (e.g. legal, business, customer care, PR, etc.).

·         Understand the technical requirements of our integration partners
and work closely with the internal BBY Open team to guide the direction of
our product offerings.

·         Manage complex contract and business deal negotiations and serve
as a liaison to the Best Buy legal group.

·         Provide regular business updates to the senior management team.



Description of Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA strongly preferred

·         10 or more years of technology field sales and business
development experience

·         Experience with Salesforce.com for account management and
reporting

·         Consistently exceeds sales quota and key performance metrics
targets

·         Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to work cross-functionally internally and with external
organizations

·         Management experience with the ability to prioritize/balance
multiple initiatives in a fast paced team environment

·         Ability to travel 25 - 30%

·         Business development and sales experience for a technology company

·         Enterprise sales experience

·         Contract negotiations with specific experience dealing with large
deals

*Experience working within the enterprise software development and loyalty
industry are highly desired.*
