*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** * Web Designer (must be local or nearby) Port Washington, NY Long term * Working under the direction of the Online Creative Director, the Web Designer is responsible for the conception, development, execution, and maintenance of design concepts throughout all phases of a project. Candidates are required to have at least 4 years of design experience, proven client relations abilities, organizational skills, and a degree in Art or Design (or comparable experience). This person uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites and streaming media. Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs. Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization. This person will work with other brand designers on interactive and multimedia assets incorporating best design and technology practices to provide cohesive support of overall creative strategies. Very strong abilities in Photoshop and Illustrator are required. This Role requires broad knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the online and offline design field. Responsibilities Interact closely with Online Creative Director, Head Web Designers, Copywriters, and Product Managers Work with internal production teams, freelance design teams, and agencies on contracted projects as directed Design of splash screens; emails; landing pages; site components; banner ads; take over ads; tournament features; branding and marketing materials; and other graphic or web elements based on corporate and client requests, new technologies, or new vendor relationships Create Web pages, video, icons, style sheets, color schemes, templates, and layouts for use in projects etc., ensuring company-wide standards and consistency while staying ahead of industry trends Create elegant and cutting-edgecomponents to support advertiser programs for Marketing team; concept creation and design of media ad units as well as marketing, advertising, and sales materials Exercise judgment in determining both the strategic and tactical approaches for project specific design initiatives, under tight deadlines Be the key point of contact for specific project development resources, serving as an deliverable project manager from a creative and tactical perspective Research design and interactive trends utilizing internet and other means Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Thorough knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator, and the ability to keep abreast of new technology solutions to maintain the highest standard of work Comprehensive understanding of project ownership from assignment through delivery Advanced branding, visual design, and typography skills Ability to take direction from the Online Creative Director and Head Web Designers Ability to uphold the brands and its standards which have been mandated by the Senior Creative Director and Creative Director Demonstrated ability to maintain a mature, calm, and professional relationship with clients, coworkers, and management Ability to quickly familiarize with brand goals, integrate style into design, and deliver projects on time The ability to solve problems; a realistic understanding of when and how to elevate an issue Ability to be flexible, have a positive attitude, and work as part of a team to make compromises that meet the needs of all parties Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with ever-changing deadlines Enthusiastic team player who looks out for others, provides guidance, and readily shares knowledge Education & Experience Requirements Bachelors degree in graphic design or 4+ years of professional experience in design, advertising, and corporate branding *HARRY WILSON | * IT Technical Recruiter *CAT Technology Inc.
