*Job Description*:
1. May install and maintain complex enterprise server environment including
support of server-resident communication and application software.
2. May design, configure, install, and support high-availability and
failover components. Installs and tests backup and recovery components.
3. May administer the security environment and maintains systems security
ensuring adherence to practices and procedures
4. Participates in projects to analyze new hardware and software or to
implement new releases of computer hardware, operating systems, firmware,
and program products.
5. Performs capacity planning, makes tuning recommendations or services
hardware and software to enhance performance
6. Develops standards and procedures for software testing, operations and
interconnectivity among computing platforms, or for documenting and
resolving performance issues that are used by other operations personnel.
7. Assists in establishing new or expanded support services to meet
business requirements.
8. Resolves escalated systems performance, communications and throughput
problems. Provides guidance in handling user requests for support to
less-experienced staff.
9. May assist with a SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint Server 2010 site
migrations

* Advanced troubleshooting skils in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008
environment
* Microsoft Office Suite
* SharePoint Dashboard Creation
*Skills Preferred but Not Required*:
* SQL Server 2005/2008
* SQL Server Reporting Services/Report Design
* Microsoft Clustering (MSCS)
* BMC BladeLogic
* Veritas NetBackup
* Veritas Storage Foundation
* CA - USD
* Development in VB .Net, C#
* Compuware ChangePoint.
