Position: Business Analyst Location: Austin, TX Duration: 6 months+ Client: TWC – State of TX Description: Worker will perform complex business analysis work on assigned Project Management Office (PMO) projects. Use standardized project management methodologies, tools and techniques to address project needs. Tailor templates for project use. Conduct collaborative work sessions with business-area subject matter experts and technical staff to achieve project goals as scheduled. Effectively and efficiently gather, organize and present information in written form. Communicate effectively orally and in writing with project team members and other stakeholders to efficiently and accurately convey and receive project information. Prepare and update project tracking documentation. Review documentation and perform quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with project and agency requirements and standards. Worker may deliver training, presentations or demonstrations. Preferred: Software and hardware accessibility testing experience a plus. II. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements:: Years Skills/Experience 3 Interpreting and applying EIR accessibility standards and specifications in federal law (Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d), as amended by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (P.L. 105-220), August 7, 1998), and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. 3 Documenting accessibility-related processes, procedures and evaluation outcomes. 5 Performing complex business analysis work. 5 Facilitating work sessions with project teams and stakeholders. Preferred: Years Skills/Experience 3 Interpreting and applying EIR accessibility standards and specifications in Texas law (Texas Government Code, Chapter 2054, Subchapter M,) and code (Title 1 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 206 and Chapter 213). 3 Developing and/or managing Texas state agency EIR accessibility compliance plans and remediation efforts. 3 Evaluating software (HTML and non-HTML) compliance with WCAG 2.0, federal Section 508 and/or Texas accessibility requirements and assisting with remediation plans. 2 Providing training on software accessibility evaluation. 2 Using a screen reader such as JAWS to validate accessibility evaluation results. 2 Using Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010.
