Location: *Richmond, VA *
Duration: *6+ Months*
*Local will be preferred*.
*Required*:
2+ years with hands-on FileNet P8 Administration experience. Including the
following:
• IBM FileNet P8 Administrator Certification (FCP) Version P8
4.0 or P8 4.5
• Linux, Websphere, Oracle, NetApp storageplatform
• Broad understanding of FileNet P8 Platform, Core Components,
Base Products like CM & BPM and Expansion Products like Records Manager
• P8 Security Authentication, Authorization, Security Policy,
Security Map, Markings, ACL, ACE, Modification Access
• P8 Platform Administration, Start/Stop P8 Services like CE,
PE, AE, CM, CSE, and Utilities used during startup and shutdown like
vwtaskman, RunTaskman.sh, routercmd.sh, etc
• Troubleshoot production problems, Review Trace and System
Logs, Work with IBM Support to resolve issues and open PMR’s.
• Install/Upgrade P8 Products, Components, Patches and Bug
fixes, Import/Export Objects, XML Read/Edit
• Understanding of P8 Database Schemas, Tables
• Configure, Maintain and Support Content Engine including:
o Object Stores, Docclasses, Documents, Properties, Choice
List, Indexes, Folders
o Content Search Engine, CBR Queries
o Storage Areas, Storage Policies, Fixed Content Devices
o Events, Subscriptions, Actions, Code Modules
o Bulk Operations like Search and Update
o Object Default Security, Inherited Security, Owner and
Authorization
• Configure, Maintain and Support Process Engine including:
o Process Services, Process Tracker, Process Administrator,
Component Integrator, Regions, Roster, Workflow, Workflow Transfer, Region
Transfer
• Configure, Maintain and Support Application Engine including:
o Site Preferences, Access Roles, Component Manager, Workplace,
Workplace XT, Search Templates, Entry Templates
• Configure, Maintain and Support P8 System Dashboard and P8
Usage Reporter including:
o Cluster, Hosts, Servers, Alerts, Reports – Users and Usages
*Preferred additional experience*:
• IBM Websphere 6.x/7.x Administration, App Server/Cluster
Configuration, Start/Stop Services, Monitoring, Tuning, Troubleshooting,
System/Error Logs
• Oracle 10g/11g database, Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, SQL
Statements Read/Edit, Oracle JDBC
• Linux 2.x, Shell Scripts, Cron Jobs, Scheduling, Deploying
Java JAR, EAR files, Configuring Java property files
• LDAP, Directory Structure, Microsoft Active Directory, Site,
Forest, Tree, Domain, User, Group,
*Duties Include*:
• Participate in 24x7 application support
• Coordinate and restart instances/servers as required for
planned/unplanned outages.
• Monitor system performance, error logs
• Respond to incidents, Bugs, Change control tickets.
Troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Coordinate as needed with MiddleWare, DBA’s, Network,
Infrastructure
• Open PMR’s with IBM/FileNet as needed and followup thru
completion
• Apply patches, fixes, upgrades as needed to FileNet P8
system and peripherals
• Participate in projects as needed, including hardware
refresh, OS maintenance, database maintenance, application upgrades, etc.
