*Description*:
Client requires an analytical Database Engineer expert with strong business
analysis, physical data modeling, development, and SQL development skills
in order to support business users in the Fixed Income risk and analytical
reporting functional areas.

operational excellence, cost effectiveness, innovation and close business
alignment.
*Primary Responsibilities*:
- Provide business analysis and technical database support to the
Quants and Risk business areas specifically in the Oracle 11.x database
technology architecture
- Perform analysis of business user requirements and translate
into technical solutions
- Have a working knowledge of Financial Applications: Trading,
Risk Management, Portfolio Assessment
- Design large volume analytical database solutions that meet the
functional and non functional business requirements.
- Perform applications database administration functions including
SQL tuning, database application design, physical data modeling, and
developer support
- Work with development teams in database design process and make
suggestions/recommendations based on data manipulation needs of the
application
- Provide database support in all phases of SDLC
- Be an independent technical and business analyst
- Experience with Informatica and Netezza data base appliance is a
plus.
- Work with the team to come up with solutions in line with
group's standards.
