Mainframe (L3)-Test plan development, Test estimation, Optimum use of tools
&  techniques, Programming skills on Mainframe



Testing Concepts(L2)-Debugs software products through the use of systematic
tests to develop, applyand maintain quality standards for company
products.  Develops and executes software test plans.  Analyzes and writes
test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to
assist in debugging and modification of software.  Analyzes test results to
ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.  Consults
with development engineers inresolution of problems. Works on problems of
relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming
concepts and principles and application of own judgment. Works as a fully
contributing team member, under broad supervision/ guidance. Expected to
further build upon domain knowledge andtechnical/ proprietary skills to
reach levels of expertise. May guide new members in the team to help them
scale up faster.



DB2 SQL(L3)-SQL Constructs Ablility to understand and implement Data Types,
Basic SQLSELECT Statements, Restricting and Sorting Data, Single-Row
Functions, Joins,Aggregate and Group Functions, Sub-Queries, Creating &
Managing DB Objects, Manipulating Data (DML), Constraints, Views  SQL Query
Tuning Basics: Understanding of SQL Tuning concepts like SQL Statement
Processing Basics,Explain Plan Basics, SQL Trace Basics, Indexes and Basic
Access Methods Basics, Introduction to the Optimizer Basics, Gathering
Statistics Basics  Adv SQLBasics:  Able to understand and implement
Datetime Functions, Advanced Subqueries, Hierarchical Queries,DDL &  DML
Extensions, Transaction Management Tools Level 1 usage  Adv SQL &  SQL
Tuning Techniques:  Ability to implement Tunning Concepts/Techniques like
Explain Plan, Access method, Generate performance analysis snapshots, Index
analysis, Gather Statistics, Using Visual Explain, SQL Access Advisor
