Title: *Project Manager*
Location: *San Francisco, CA *
Duration: *6+ Months*
*Position Summary*:
The successful candidate for this position will manage a dynamic,
cross-organizational team process that ensures customer satisfaction,
safety and reliable operation of PG&E’s grid. Project Managers rely on
technical and tariff expertise to facilitate all interconnection related
contracts.
*Job Responsibilities Include*:
• Overall management of customer-driven FERC and/or CPUC
jurisdictional generation interconnection projects from receipt of the
interconnection request and/or application through the settlement process
or first accurate customer bill, respectively.
• Significant coordination and partnership with other
departments such as: Division Engineering, Service Planning, Project
Services, System Protection (T&D), Transmission Operations, Tariffs,
Transmission Planning, Law, Metering, Billing, Account Services, etc… to
assure timely interconnection of assigned projects.
• Carefully monitors and proactively report progress on
interconnection projects, with input from all impacted departments.
• Continually strive to improve service to customers and
generation developers.
• Resolve disputes effectively, efficiently and diplomatically
by knowing the key tariffs, policies, and stakeholders to resolve the
issue.
• Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, customers
and business partners by sharing and seeking information and ideas with
others; tailoring communication to the audience; and demonstrating
competence/proficiency in written and verbal communications.
• Overall management of the financial transactions with
interconnection customers, interact with accounting, business finance, and
GIS analysts.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, ability to
prioritize and ability to meet deadlines
• Understands PG&E's basic financial and business policies and
practices, and is able to apply them appropriately
• Well-developed teamwork and collaborative skills-especially
within a matrixed environment
• Assignments require extensive knowledge of concepts,
principles or practices in a specific discipline, field or area of expertise
*Minimum Qualifications*:
• BA/BS or equivalent experience in engineering, construction
management, or business
• 3 years relevant experience
*Desired Qualifications*:
• 6 years of related experience, with at least 3 years as a
project manager
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• PMP Certification
