Title: *Data Analyst*
Location: *Chattanooga, TN*
Duration: *6 Months *
Rate: *$55/hr*
*Description*:
This position provides system analysis and design, project management, and
support in the development, enhancement, maintenance, and integration of
Shared Health's selected data products. The ultimate goal is the provision
of reliable, essential, decision support products for company products,
internal applications, and senior management.
*Functions*:
· Define requirements, analyze, design, enhance, and develop
software systems to efficiently and effectively fulfill corporate
initiatives and planning/development objectives.
· Enhance the design of current I/S systems, thereby broadening
system capabilities to meet the changing needs of the business.
· Maintain technical skill sets across a broad range of software
languages, databases and platforms that will be used in the development and
production of analyses, products, and reports.
· Assist in determining data requirements and definitions in all
the data environments.
· Take part in the deployment, change control, and Q/A of
applications and services, responding to failure and performance events in
the system as a whole and taking appropriate measures to reduce system
downtime and eliminate recurrence of the problem.
· Respond to system usage questions and conduct training classes to
empower system users with the knowledge to maximize their use of developed
systems.
· Develop and present Technology and User management comprehensive
presentations of proposed systems.
· Map and transform HL7 messages for integration into Shared Health
systems.
· Map and transform various health care transaction (837, 270/271,
etc) types into Shared Health system
· Maintain current implementation and support new development for
Data Stage products, including Quality Stage, as well as other data and BI
tools.
