Lead QA Analyst
Minneapolis
3+ years experience as test lead involved in test planning, scheduling,
estimation, and execution management across multiple concurrent projects
- American Society for Quality, or Quality Assurance Institute
certification strongly preferred
- Strong technical and analytic skills; ability to understand complex
systems and design tests around integration and interface points
- Experience with risk-based testing strategy
- Database validation including SQL query creation and execution
- Experience in developing and executing test strategies and plans for
various testing types and levels.
- Ability to manage defects and interpret defect reports, analyzing
trends
- Ability to coach QA team ensuring adherence to process
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams of
technical and non-technical staff
7+ years experience working as a quality professional on a variety of
technology platforms and systems
- Serve as a liaison between core business groups and information
technology
- Drive test deliverables on a project basis being responsive to
schedule and quality requirements.
- Create and review test plans across multiple projects, using
risk-based approach.
- Review test cases and other testing artifacts created by other team
members for completeness and accuracy.
- Analyze and manage software defect reports, participate in defect
meetings.
- Contribute to test data strategy and create complex, reusable test
data sets.
- Troubleshoot defects or environment issues and facilitate remediation.
- Provide guidance to the team based on management direction.
- Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the team.
- Provide effective communication regarding accomplishments, issues,
objectives, initiatives and performance to plan
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skill
- Self-driven and focused; tracks tasks and keeps eye on the objective
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and agile environment
- Strong leadership skills that inspire and motivate
College or Technical School graduate
