*Job Description:
*Tool Automation Program (TAP) developer in the Global Manufacturing  IT
team, responsible for tool automation applications in our HDD head and
media manufacturing lines.  Responsible for maintaining the high
reliability and the implementation of enhancements to TAPs currently used
in head and media manufacturing worldwide.  Responsible also for
development of new TAPs and solving problems with existing TAPs.  Work
closely with process engineers, equipment engineers, and IT architects to
understand requirements for TAPs.  Transform development specifications and
requirements as received from IT architects into reliable, simple and
supportable code adhering to company development practices and standards.
Perform deep, timely troubleshooting of TAP problems as they may manifest
in the supported manufacturing lines. Attention to documentation, details,
problem solving, and excellent communications skills are a must.

*Skill requirements:*
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related
fields
- Strong English verbal and written skills
- 5+ years experience in head and media manufacturing (or equivalent
industry), development, implementation and support of manufacturing process
and tools a plus
-  *Knowledge* of HDD head and media manufacturing tooling, equipment, and
processes (or equivalent industry) a plus
-  *Skilled* in Java, .Net, ASP.Net, C/C++/C#, and Ajax/Atlas programming
languages and corresponding development environments with certification in
developing with any or all these languages a plus
-  *Working knowledge* of IBM Websphere, DB2 and SQL
-  *Deep background* in SECSGEM standard tool interface and PLC logic
-  *Experienced* with Camstar InSite and Mesa applications , including
Automation Toolkit and Resource Module
