This position requires highly effective organizational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Review business requirements and specifications for consistency in quality standards and preparation for testing. * Write and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. * Execute test cases and/or automation scripts for both functional and regression tests. * Analyze test results; perform SQL queries for data comparison and validation. * Record and track issues/defects; follow-through with fix resolution and validation. * Work closely with the business and development groups from conception to completion of multiple simultaneous projects. QUALIFICATIONS * 2 or 4 year Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience * 3+ years experience in software quality assurance and test engineering * 2+ years using test automation tools for functional and load testing * Experience in testing web applications, including SaaS framework, web services, and data integration * Experience in testing Mortage, Finance, or Banking systems and applications * Excellent phone, written, and verbal communication skills * Ability to deal with changing priorities to complete tasks in a short period of time * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously * Experience working with geo-located teams (i.e. offshore) * Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and debugging skills * Exceptional organizational and time management skills * A strong professional work ethic and a positive energetic attitude COMPUTER SKILLS Required . Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.) . Working knowledge of HP Quality Center (QC) and Quick Test Pro (QTP) functional test automation tools .
