*Relevant Experience (Yrs)*:
Total 7-8 Years of experience as Technical consultant. Recommended to have
at least 3 years of hands on experience on ETL tools

*Necessary Skills*:
- Experience in architecture and design of the DI/ETL environment using
Datastage.
- Experience in DataStage 8.x administration activities – project
creation, user roles, configuring data sources, maintaining DS servers,
engine and domain servers.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting DataStage platform related
issues, long complex SQL queries, Teradata BTEQ scripts, Unix shell scripts.
- Managing day to day operations, monitoring jobs, on call support and
rotations with other team members.
- Provide guidance to the development team and recommendations to
optimize the data extraction and loading using ETL jobs.
- Strong working knowledge of Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server and/or other
large RDBMS.
- Good communication skills (Verbal + Written) and convincing skills to
various stakeholders.

*Desired Skills*: Experience in Data Modeling, Data architecture.
*Roles & Responsibilities*:
- Understand the existing ETL architecture and propose design
recommendations as per DataStage 8.5 new features.
- Design ETL frameworks and highly re-usable components within the
constraints of the infrastructure architecture
- Maintain up-to-date technical resolutions
- Present solutions to various stakeholders

- Good Customer communication
- Working relationship with end customer in highly demanding environment.
- Able to lead a team of 7-8 members. Delegate, track and monitor
performance
- Report progress/challenges to Service Delivery Manager
