*Windows Admin and Application Support Engineer *

*Job Description:*

- Act as a point of contact for *Level 2 support* and Application admin.

- Own and *maintain.Net* based application

- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability
of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing
system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
such as backups.

- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade
administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as
necessary.

- Co-ordinate with vendor, development team, *APS* and *PatMS* admin.

- Seamless interaction with *Bizz, SSG* and support teams

- Strong knowledge base of *Windows, Linux* and *AIX systems*

- Contribute in issue reproduction and issue classification
(defect/enhancement)

- Resolve defects/issues reg components developed by inhouse dev team.

- Plan and manage defect releases and push fixes/patches into the
production.

- Identify solutions to work around open issues / problems that are under
investigation or pending resolution

Personal skills:

- Preeminent communication and customer facing skills

- Display willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate
judgment; include appropriate people in the decision-making process; make
timely decisions

- Must be flexible and willing to work beyond normal business hours in an
onsite-offshore model
