Our clien's MDM platform includes corporate domains like Customer, Contact,
and Product. This role will collaborate closely with various Program
Managers within the company to ensure smooth delivery of projects on a
regular basis. He or she will regularly collaborate with various different
development teams, infrastructure SMEs, Business intelligence, CRM, ERP,
Middleware, security and application support teams. This individual will be
responsible for clean, sleek and successful deliveries of the MDM
initiatives at the client's site.

This role will require someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and
get their hands dirty to clean up the MDM hub. This role requires someone
who is serious data quality, gets excited at the sound of defining and
tuning matching and standardization algorithms and continuously thrives to
recommend value-add improvements within the MDM platform.

This individual will act as the technical guru and help others understand
the importance of “golden” data. He or she will really have the drive,
energy and passion to take the current MDM platform to the next level by
applying industry best practices in the areas of Master data management,
specifically - Data Quality, Data Standardization, Address
validation/matching. This person needs to keep the dirty data out of the
Hub, regularly.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 or more years of experience working with developing MDM solutions (such
as Oracle UCM, IBM, Informatica)
• Must have a thorough architectural understanding of Oracle Applications
(CDH) 11i & R12, Universal Customer Master, Oracle/Hyperion DRM, Data
Quality Tools (Informatica/Trillium)
• Thorough understanding of the full MDM development lifecycle required
• Experience with at least 3 MDM implementations using Oracle UCM (as a
development lead)
• In-depth understanding of Hub/Spoke architecture
• Must have very good technical knowledge of Integration Options and
technology of the above tools with other Applications through SOA
Middleware.
• Experience with different styles of MDM implementations (registry,
transactional, hybrid)
• Strong understanding and implementation experience of ETL tools
• Strong background in technical data analysis, data profiling, hierarchy
management, survivorship rules, data stewardship processes
• Proven skills in working with different types of database models
• Must be able to use write complex SQL to queries for business
decision-making
• Limited supervision and direction is provided, as this individual can
operate and drive results and set priorities independently.
• To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results
through regular leadership and influencing junior engineers
• Clear understanding and adherence to SDLC lifecycle documentation

PROFICIENCIES:

• Excellent SQL Skils
• JScripting Experience
• Superb communication skills
• Excellent follow through
• Hyperion/Oracle DRM experience


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience is required, including 5+ years
solid relevant experience in the area of Master Data Management
• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Management Information
Systems, or Business, or related field is required *
