ETL Architect / Data warehouse design expert with hands on experience in
designing and developing ETL solutions and strategy for an Enterprise data
warehouse. Serve as Subject Mater Expert on ETL, Data Warehousing,
Replication, Performance Tuning, Optimization, SQL, TSQL, Database Schema,
and Data Modeling. Provide senior-level expertise for ETL development, data
mining, database design, data modeling, reporting & analysis.
Must have good understanding of logical, physical data models and metadata
concepts. Very good exposure to data modeling concepts - star schema /
dimensional modeling / Relational design (E/R). Should have experience in
performance tuning and other design considerations for large data warehouse
implementations. Hands on Pentahoe ETL and Golden Gate Replication
experience required.
1. 10+ years of Full Life Cycle Experience in Model, Design,
Development of Data warehouse/ETL/BI Solutions.
2. 10+ years ETL design/development experience utilizing the ETL
Mapping tools. Expert-level experience with Pentahoe.
3. 10+ yrs hands-on experience with PL-SQL and XML
4. 10+ yrs hands-on experience with database replication engines.
Golden Gate experience required.
5. 10+ yrs experience with relational/dimensional databases
6. 10+ yrs experience as a systems analyst/designer
7. 10+ yrs experience with UNIX Shell scripting, Perl
8. 10+ yrs experience utilizing XML, HTML
9. 10+ yrs technical experience in a data-centric development
environment
10. 10+ yrs experience creating complex queries, stored procedures,
11. 10+ yrs experience developing data marts and tools for data
analysis.
12. 10+ yrs experience with reporting tools such as Business
Objects.
13. 10+ years experience collecting and documenting requirements
14. 10+ years of Oracle 10g/11g, Oracle Designer.
15. Expert understanding of DB, data mart/data warehouse Concepts.

2. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.

*Roles & Responsibilities*
1. ETL Architect / Data warehouse Design expert with hands on
experience in designing the ETL and ETL strategy for an Enterprise data
warehouse. Experience in defining the high-level architecture for a large
ETL/DWH implementation.
2. The candidate will be responsible for building complex ETL
process loaders, creating the technical architecture and design for the
Customer Enterprise Database.
3. Provide technical guidance to the team; lead design and
architectural discussions and decisions, mentor more junior members of the
team. Must possess superior ETL design and development skills. Hands on
Pentahoe ETL and Golden Gate Replication experience required.
4. Must have extensively worked with Oracle 11g database. Must have
been involved in development of stored procedures in Oracle – PL/SQL, etc
on a Unix, platform.
5. Research and resolve data, process, reporting or ETL related
issues. Translate requirements and models data warehouse designs; designs
and builds appropriate data repositories and data movements (dimensional or
relational databases) to ensure that business needs are met. Ensures the
quality and integrity of all operational processes. Ensures that all
processes are fully documented. Automate and schedule job execution.
Document production execution steps and production support processes and
procedures. Lead data cleaning to correct inconsistent, unused, or
duplicate data. Tune queries, assign proper indexes, create triggers and
stored procedures. Create and optimize database objects, stored procedures,
tables, views, triggers, indexes, user-defined functions
6. Design and oversee the implementation of data transformation and
change processing procedures to ensure that data from multiple sources is
aggregated, normalized and updated and then published to multiple target
environments.
7. Testing and deployment of ETL mappings
8. Define the technology requirements for the design, build and
testing of subscriber related data extract, transformation, load, audit and
validation. Design and document technical solution strategies and
architectures fulfilling complex business requirements, Interact with
experts from support teams regarding the definition and application of
non-functional requirements for the solution to be developed
9. Provide input regarding the evolution of technological platforms,
and contribute to the definition and evolution of appropriate technological
strategies and roadmaps, Perform other duties as assigned
