*Need is for a Build engineer who could create Automation Builds using TFS
2010 (Team Foundation Server) with experience in .Net and SQL.*
*Rate : 50$/Hr*
*Job Description: *
We are looking for a talented Build Engineer who could create Automation
builds in TFS 2010. As a Configuration Management Build Engineer you will
help developing build scripts and tools that will improve the efficiency of
development build cycles, release packaging, and configuration management
processes. The position will work with a wide variety of tools and the
ideal candidate will be experienced in a number of technologies including
.NET applications and SQL.

*Responsibilities:*
1. Create automated build scripts for code compilation and packaging.
2. Ensure Build environments are maintained and available.
3. Create solutions for continuous builds.
4. Coordinate deployment issues across various development and
infrastructure teams and environments.
5. Create and execute industry best practices within area of
responsibility.
6. Manage the release of software components into QA, Staging and
Production environments.
7. Integrate test automation harnesses into the continuous
integration system to support quality objectives.

*Education:* BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
experience.
* *
*Years of Experience: *5 years Configuration Management experience,
preferably in large scale enterprise projects, performs Build Engineering
activities.
* *
*Technical Skills:*
1. Solid hands-on experience with Visual Studio and Microsoft Team
Foundation Server (TFS) and its build tools.
2. Source code management skills including tagging, branching and
merging for mid to large size projects.
3. Strong experience with Agile software development process.
4. Experience integrating automation into the process.
5. Experience with .NET programming languages desirable.
6. Scripting/development languages including: vbscript, batch,
powershell, perl, C#, vb.net, html, t-sql.
7. Understanding of various config files, .ini, .xml, etc and how to
manipulate via automation
8. Knowledge of Windows, file locations, registry, services, etc.
9. Familiarity with working in virtual environments such as
VirtualPC, Hyper-V, VMWare, etc.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
