Please reply to [email protected] only *Title: **Systems Admin* * * *Location: West Lake Village, CA (onsite)* * * *Duration: 6+ Months* * * *DESCRIPTION:* * POSITION OVERVIEW:* • Translating product and technical requirements into reliable and scalable application service solutions • Apply project management skills to operationalizing new offerings and system improvements • Support day to day tactical Production Operations for rapidly expanding offerings • Develop, enhance and deploy monitoring solutions and assist in evaluating infrastructure improvements for long term growth and cost efficiency • Self-motivated, innovative problem solver who thinks smart, makes the right things happen; if you thrive working in uncharted waters • Demonstrate good communications and soft skills in a team environment with an ability to approach tasks and activities in a logical and timely fashion • Has the flexibility to apply knowledge and experience to recommend custom solutions to business problems and communicate tradeoffs when deviating from established standards. • Troubleshoots the entire system, primarily relying on proven techniques for IT systems analysis and evaluation. • Demonstrate good communications and soft skills in a team environment with an ability to approach tasks and activities in a logical and timely fashion * QUALIFICATIONS: * The ideal candidate will possess the following: • 5+ years systems administration experience managing enterprise - Unix/Linux environment experience and Windows experience a Plus • Scripting (Shell, Perl, CGI, etc.), X, Mail, SSH, HTTP/S, • Apache Web Server • Java application server technologies (Java, JDBC, Jserv, JBOSS) • Networking protocols (tcp, http(s),etc.) • Excellent troubleshooting capabilities • Good teamwork skills, with strong communication proficiency • Must possess ability to work effectively and efficiently in a cross-functional environment • Knowledge of Tomcat and Apache is a plus • B.S.
