*Location: Minden, NV*
*Duration: 12Months *
*Pay Rates: $50-55 Max*
We have been developing a core set of plotting components that are used by
our software applications to present our machinery vibration and process
data to our users. These components have been developed using a
combination of* C#, C++, WPF, DirectX, and GDI technologies*. We’re
currently working on expanding this set of plotting components to add new
features for the next versions of our software applications. We’re
developing these components using test-driven development principles with
fully automated unit tests as well as automated acceptance tests using
technologies such as MSTest and nUnit (for C# modules) and CPPUnit (for *C++
modules*). We need the contracted engineers to help us add these new
features to our plotting framework.
*·** **QUALIFICATIONS: *
o B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
o Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with C++.
o Experience in software development with GDI and/or DirectX technologies.
o Experience in software development with C# and WPF technologies.
o Experience in writing automated unit tests using CPPUnit, nUnit,
MSTestor other unit test frameworks.
o Excellent communication skills.
*·** **RESPONSIBILITIES:*
o The engineers will be responsible for creating new plots and enhancing
existing plots in our core plotting framework.
o The engineers will be responsible for creating automated unit tests
(using test-driven development methodologies) as well as automated
acceptance tests for all of the new plots and new plotting features.
o The engineers will be operating in an Agile software development
environment.
o The engineers will be responsible for documenting the new plots and
plotting features to support sustaining.
*·** **DESIRED SKILLS: *
o Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010.
o Experience with Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation technologies.
o Experience working and communicating with global teams.
