Skill Set : IBM Web Sphere Portal Servers, Web Sphere Application Server
7.0, DB2, Oracle Web logic Portal, JBoss Application Server, Struts , JSP,
Servlet, Core Java, Database Knowledge, Spring and Hibernate, Design
Patterns.
Domain : Insurance
Minimum work exp : 7 to 9 years (Total) and 5 years in Java
1. Design, develop and deploy Web-based applications and services that fuel
core business processes
2. Develop applications from design specs
3. Develop, enhance and support complex Java web applications in a
multi-user environment
4. Experience in Web Sphere Portal Servers ,JSP, Servlets, JDBC and core
Java
5. Good knowledge of Java frequently implemented design pattern such as
Singleton, Factory, session facade etc
6. Working knowledge on developing in Rational Application Developer as IDE
7. Experienced in writing and tuning SQL queries.
8. Experience in development of webservices
9. Ability to work well in teams to pro-actively share knowledge,
information, problems and solutions
10.Understand full life-cycle development and delivery of enterprise-class
software solutions
11. Good communication skills. Ability to capture / translate business
requirements to IT requirements using formal methodologies like Usecases,
sequence diagram
12. Good knowledge on design patterns (practical experience preferred)
13. Excellent understanding of Class level modeling
14. Good exposure to integration technologies.
