PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES****

Primary responsibilities, but not limited to:****
• Exhibit strong End to End troubleshooting skills
(system/application/network).****
• Deliver IT support for Wintel and UNIX/Linux systems.
Maintain and support existing ****
Servers, *NAS (VNX and Netapp)/SAN environments, Citrix MPS4/4.5 &
VMWare ESX* ****
farms. ****
• Design, configure, and perform installations/migrations,
upgrades to file servers, ****
network attached storage devices, and storage-attached networks. **

• Responsible for the full lifecycle of systems in Wilson
including but not limited to builds,****
deployments (cabling, racking &/or end user delivery), post
installation support and L1 ****
Vendor interface.****
• Work as part of a team in the design and build of a Data
Center Environment which ****
will provide Hot Site recoverability of our primary data center. **

• Develop and update Disaster Recovery plans and Business
Impact Analysis. ****
• Demonstrate expertise in the backup and recovery, of the
company’s data.****
• Exercise our Disaster Recovery plans in mock scenarios or
in the form of organized ****
tests. ****
• Work with the Technical Architecture & Planning teams, to
evaluate and test new ****
products and versions. ****
• Demonstrate knowledge of Validation requirements,
Standard-operating procedures ****
(SOP), Change Control maintenance, and the Project Quality Model
(PQM), for product ****
life cycle.****
• Meet with business clients and Application Development
teams, to gather requirements****
for new technologies, recoverability of applications and work on
implementation ****
strategies. ****
• Organize and manage projects, for the implementation of new
or upgraded ****
hardware/software this includes: new applications, determining
server ****
requirements/resources, reviewing network designs, providing
cost/benefit proposals ****
for client review, recommending and conducting system optimization
plan, etc. ****
• Learn and adhere to Customer’s Validation requirements,
Standard-operating ****
procedures (SOP), Change Control maintenance, and the Project
Quality Model (PQM), ****
for product life cycle.****
• Create and maintain validation scripts as needed. ****
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures as
required.****
• Order Hardware and negotiate pricing and maintenance
contracts with vendors.****
• Work with Network management/monitoring tools such as
NETIQ, for the proactive ****
monitoring of the company’s production systems.****
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and
verbal.****
• Presentation to management and clients.****
• Promote and enforce the use of Customer’s Data Security
policies and standards. ****
• Demonstrate the ability to manage time and multitask.****
