ITS ALL WORK FROM HOME….* *** ** ** *Interoperability Matrix Tool (“IMT”) Lead: **(one needed)***** **** **· **Rapidly identify and interpret NetApp Best Practices in terms of the Customer’s IT environment (Servers/Software/Switches/Data): requires a complete and in-depth understanding of the IMT tool**** **· **Excellent communication skills: will interface directly with the NetApp-PS/AT&T Project Team as well as with NetApp Global Services (“NGS”) **** **· **Detailed understanding of NGS support case initiation and management (specifically around IMT issues)**** **· **Expertise in MS-Excel to represent complicated support scenarios to the customer (Pivot Table experience preferred)**** **· **Technical expertise and experience in SAN topology and architecture**** **· **Ability to set provide leadership to offshore IMT team**** **** *Data Migration Engineers (“DME”): (these roles are offshore and are **already being sourced** **by a specific NetApp partner so **NONE are Needed** **but the skill set is material to the positions being staffed by NetApp so they are listed here for your reference only)***** **· **Work is both core business hours (8-5) and up to two (2) evening migrations each week.**** **o **Migrations are currently *10PM to 8AM EST*; however, migrations may start and or end 2hours earlier or later from* that time. Expected hours are 45 per week.***** **o ***Skillset is storage migrations with emphasis on OS-skills: Linux and Windows are dominant***** **o ***Remote work experience is necessary as is a reliable telephone, and internet connectivity required for all day-to-day work ***** **§ ***Note: DMEs for Platinum Surge are coming from Accenture Offshore, so they have their own skillset parameters.***** **§ ***This description is posted here as reference for the following roles only…***** **** *Migration Team Leads: **(three needed)***** **o ***Same as above, plus…***** **o **Strong (NetApp mandatory + other vendor preferred) Storage, Host-based and Data Transfer Appliance (“DTA”: if NetApp) migration experience and skills. **** **§ ** Awareness of DTA Licensing models.**** **o **Stand-alone technical skills with the ability to direct, influence and respond to both internal and external team member questions for storage and OS-planning of migration methods and client preparation meetings**** **§ **Examples of effective team leads whom you may know are Jay Stillman, Phil Borkstrom and Alex Umanski**** **o **Responsible for 1-2 windows week (majority are night time migrations: see above DME description)**** **o **Expected hours 45-50 per week**** **** *Migration Coordinators (“MC”): **(two needed)***** **o **MC’s must have strong Excel & SharePoint, Basic Understanding of NetApp and other vendor Storage terminology and architectures as well as OS (Linux & Windows both strongly preferred)**** **o **Will provide technical write-ups of migration activities on a weekly basis (Go, No-Go calls, meeting preparation and Lessons Learned from completed migration windows) for an audience with a wide variety of Storage Skills (from None to Architecture Expert).**** **o ***Extensive Project Management experience* with large clients with demonstrated ability to understand, represent and control complex priority planning and communications functions.**** **o **Researches, escalates and directs communication while *in-window,*as well as apart from the migration windows, to reach clear resolution on complex technical questions.
