* 2-5 years of overall experience with Cognos BI Suite
* Hands on experience in administering, deploying and maintaining Models,
reports, and cubes using Cognos 8/ Cognos 10.
* Extensive experience in installing and configuring and securing Cognos
8.4/ Cognos 10 Suite on Unix and Windows
* Working knowledge of Cognos components which include Framework Manager,
Metric Designer, Map Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio,
Event Studio and Metric Studio.
* Cognos administration experience is mandatory
* Ability to work on simultaneous projects and capable of rapidly responding
to production related issues
* Outstanding communication, organization, time management, and
interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Degree education in a computing, engineering or scientific discipline.
* Certification with COGNOS Tool set is required.
