Mobility Developer

Location: Chicago, IL
Length: 6+ months

Start: ASAP

Interview: phone / in-person

 

Responsibilities:


• Engage in technical conversations in within the client software development 
community – with both existing and prospective customers.
• Generate content - blog posts, sample code, screencasts, how-to documents, 
tweets – anything that can assist in getting the word out & helping developers 
discover client and our API’s.
• Provide world-class customer support on client developer portal forums, 
email, 
social networks and wherever else technical questions arise.
• Get out in the wild: Meet with developers at hack-a-thons, meet-ups, 
conferences 
and other events, both local and national.
• Help developers envision, build, & distribute projects products using the 
client API.
• Gather feedback that will inform Development, Product, Marketing, and Sales 
decisions.

Requirements:


• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years’ experience working with mobile 
applications, 
mobile websites, and/or online technology.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovatively and creatively 
using sound business judgment and quantitative skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and resourceful in achieving 
success 
in the face of ambiguity while prioritizing and managing multiple 
responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of web business models, mobile development & web service 
technologies.
• Passionate about learning new technologies and telling others about 
technological 
exploits.
• You have excellent written communication skills. You blog about technical 
topics, and frequently talk shop on Twitter, forums, IRC, etc.
• Comfortable communicating with large audiences (e.g. participating in a 
developer 
forum, presenting to a group of developers)
• Have experience building community around something you are passionate about 
(dogs, a technology topic, sports team, whatever excites you).
• Solid understanding of Internet business models and web technologies.
