Roles and Responsibilities:
Must have 5+ years experience in Java software development or testing
framework/tool development within a test environment consisting of : Java
SOA, Spring framework, Hibernate, WS-*, SQL, Oracle and Linux:
Software API testing or white box testing { Testing infrastructure will be
Java, JUnit, ANT, Maven, Selenium and open source Java libraries and tools}
UI automation using UI automation tools such as Selenium (Preferred)
Developing or testing consumer ecommerce system (PLUS)
Must have previous experience designing, developing & maintaining test
plans, test specifications, automation testing frameworks, testing tools
and automated test suites. Emphasis is on testing high
performance/availability, object-oriented software in a multi-tier,
distributed environment.
Able to lead/mentoring a small group (3-4) of QA engineer for a certain
project area
Design and implement JUnit-based automated test suites, reusable testing
modules and Java-based testing tools.
Write test plan and test cases for core platform J2EE based application
APIs, services and reports. Execute tests. Analyze test results. Report
issues.
Write load scripts and perform load testing
Extend and maintain the existing automation testing framework and testing
tool. Troubleshoot and fix test harness and test data problems.
Implement automated test suites in Java to maximize code coverage
Identify and report the defects of system under test
Perform bug isolation, reproduction, classification and tracking through
resolution
Strong leadership skills with the ability to adapt to challenges and to
mentor team members
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective
communicator
Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this
project.
