The responsibilities for this position include the design, development, implementation, and support of the healthcare interfaces across the Enterprise. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the following technologies: • Experience in working with HL7 • Strong experience to work in Healthcare environment • Experience in UNIX/Windows environment • C programming or other structured programming language experience • Must have strong understanding of and experience with the full software development lifecycle. • Must have experience writing functional and technical specifications. The HDMI environment is fast-paced, technically demanding, and will require special skills, including: • Adaptability to new tools and techniques • Ability to perform balanced critiques of design features and options • Demonstrated ability to quickly create working prototypes and work with stakeholders and colleagues to rapidly adapt a design to meet customer needs • Team player, someone who works well with others and alone on specific projects. Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience. Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience: Exposure to implementations from major Healthcare Information System vendors (Epic, Cerner, McKesson, Sunrise, IDX, etc) is highly desirable.
