Role: UI Engineers Location: Reston, VA. Duration: 6months to long-term. Must haves: HTML5, CSS3 POSITION SUMMARY: The Junior UI writes front-end UI code for the User Interface team. They are competent in HTML 4 and 5, CSS 2 and 3, JavaScript and jQuery. Ideal Jr. UI Engineers will have experience with large enterprise software projects. This position will interact closely with project management and software engineers. INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to problem solve on a white board using hand-written pseudo-code (HTML and CSS) Must understand basic HTML and CSS without needing a computer for reference Must have created at least one static website from scratch ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Build, test, deploy and maintains front-end code for web pages and applications in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery Self-manage work on projects and coordinate with other stakeholders Participate in project planning and estimating Works tightly with other members of the team. QUALIFICATIONS Related Skills & Other Requirements: JavaScript knowledge jQuery knowledge Experience with XML Significant knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 Significant knowledge of accessibility JSON experience experience integrating front end code with server side technology PHP experience Drupal experience Mobile web development Mobile development on native platforms (iOS, Android) 3-5 years of professional experience in web development or a related field.
