Position: Remote Desktop / laptop support

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 3-6 Months



This is customer facing role and would require person to be good at
customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and
ability to interact with business and IT users is must.

·          Assists in enforcement of service level agreements.

·         Prioritization and multi-tasking ability

·         Self-motivated and enthusiastic

·         good interpersonal skills

·         Good team player and mentor



Technical Knowledge

1.       Remote Desktop / laptop support

a.       Working knowledge of OS – Windows XP and Window 7

b.      Troubleshooting VPN, wifi, aircard and internet issues

c.       Troubleshooting IE, outlook and MS office issues

d.      Troubleshooting OS related issues

2.       Remote Software installation on machines

a.       Understanding remote connectivity tools like Bomgar, Dameware, RDP

3.       Hardware installation and drivers update

4.       Working knowledge of Remedy or any other defect tracking tool

5.       Working knowledge of SCCM

a.       Deployment

b.      Software installation

c.       OSD

d.      Application packaging skill using Admin studio

6.       Scripting language like VB Scripting, Powershell

7.       Working knowledge of windows imaging method – wim, iso, ghost, SCCM

8.       Good at documentation and creating knowledge article
