The candidate must possess comprehensive technical skills and understanding of test automation process. The candidate should be able to demonstrate significant experience interpreting software requirement specifications, creating and executing detailed test plans, and leading testing activities in project release cycles, including, but not limited to, smoke testing, functional testing, regression testing, performance testing and load testing. The ideal candidate should have experience in executing quality control tasks within an agile software delivery methodology, such as Scrum. *Education or equivalent: * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems Object-oriented programming background *Job Responsibilities: * Review product requirements, use cases, user stories and functional requirements and create and maintain test plans, cases, scenarios/scripts, in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies Assist with manual testing, execute manual test cases and scripts for products under development using test management and tracking tools Review manual test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the project team Establish, maintain and configure testing environments for executing test cases and scenarios Design, create and execute automation scripts using Selenium and other suitable testing tools, including developing any custom scripts for testing needs Support, maintain, and enhance all test automation related activities during iterative development, system testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing and post production testing Work with development and build management teams to integrate automated tests into the development and release process Participate in the development, deployment, and administration of QA process, tools, and supporting technologies Work with developers on best testing practices so that automation goals can be achieved Prepare, execute load test scripts, using LoadRunner or custom tools, identify specific performance bottlenecks within testing environments, and drive the resolution process for issues identified Monitor current application system requirements and recommended changes/updates as new technologies emerge Research new technologies and test for compatibility with existing applications Maintain and track records of test progress, document test results, prepare reports and present results as appropriate Record and track defects uncovered during the execution of tests scripts and drive defect toward resolution Provide timely and accurate status on defect information and appropriate metrics to facilitate QA reporting *Job Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience with software testing of web-based applications using a structured testing methodology 3+ years of experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Selenium 2+ years of experience developing with programming languages (i.e., Java, .Net framework, C#, C++, Perl, VBScript) Strong knowledge of HTML, XML and CSS Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills Superb written and verbal communication *Preferred Skills: * Selenium and HTMLUnit HP LoadRunner and jMeter tools Unit testing with JUnit or NUnit Java programming with TestNG Selenium framework Shell scripting, Ant, or Ruby for automation scripting Experience testing a large portfolio of high-traffic websites and multi-tier internet systems Experience working with Agile methodologies and highly frequent release cycles Thank you Best Regards – *venu goud* [image: Description: Description: Description: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery\Quadrant4_footer.jpg] [email protected] <[email protected]> | www.quadrantfour.com +1 (732) 798-3000 Ext. 4422 (W) [image: cid:[email protected]]:[email protected] [image: cid:[email protected]]:[email protected] <http://www.linkedin.com/in/venugoud> Blog: http://venujobsblog.blogspot.in/ [image: cid:[email protected]] * * **** * * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
