*Position Description*

Candidate will be part of a team that manages and supports all Microsoft
Windows and SQL Server databases; provides primary support for Windows and
SQL database production issues; manages the Windows and SQL environment and
provides support to the Application and Business teams.  Candidate also
provides support for complex ETLs.  This candidate will work in a 24/7
highly available, on-call Solaris/Linux/Window environment.



*Position Requirements*

Minimum of 4 years of windows server administration experience with
Microsoft products such as Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 and SQL Server
2005/2008/2012.  At least two years experience with VMWare.  Must
demonstrate prior experience and ability to support Windows platforms,
establish basic security settings, understand HW configurations, and
provide assistance with diagnostics and troubleshooting using critical
problem solving techniques.  Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Administration and Group Policy, Active Directory administration and
troubleshooting, and understanding of the underlying networking and DNS
concepts.  Strong customer service skills are required, as well as the
ability to work closely with support teams and business partners.
Excellent written and oral communication and ability to build strong
partnerships and relationships with internal clients are required.  Must
have strong team focus and work ethic.

*Responsibilities:*

§  Provide administration and support for production and pre-productions
systems

§  Manage multiple window server operating systems and services

§  Manage and troubleshoot issues related to SQL server

§  Manage and troubleshoot issues related to ETL processes

§  Manage system issues, upgrades, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and
replication

§  Provide detailed root cause analysis and suggest workarounds and/or
solutions for recurring issues

§  Take ownership of problems, escalation of issues and work with multiple
teams to get to a resolution

§  Maintain production systems to ensure performance, availability,
integrity and security

§  Work as part of a team to ensure SLAs are met for issues during work and
on call hours by responding to requests, tickets and pages

§  Self-motivator possessing a high sense of urgency and a high level of
integrity

§  Participate in an on-call rotation as part of a leveraged team working
across multiple time zones
