Sr .NET Developer Location Lafayette, LA Duration 6+ months Rate DOE Direct client Phone Hire Must have 8+ years of experience Description: Actively participate in the design phase by Creating Process Flow charts and documenting business specifications for Projects assigned. Utilize those design specifications to: *Code, test and debug custom.NET<https://mail.ibisint.com/owa/redir.aspx?C=c03c8265cffb4aaeac241f09115fc00c&URL=http%3a%2f%2fcustom.net%2f>applications to meet Design specifications. *Assist the Database administrator in creation optimization of Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, triggers and system optimization per defined technical specifications. *Design, code, test and debug business logic for software applications using Microsoft T-SQL WCF, MFC per defined technical specifications; *Continually evaluate Microsoft T-SQL procedure performance and enhance the performance as required; *Manage the extraction, transformation, and population of data files and databases (MS SQL Server, Excel, Access); * Develop solutions to complex software design issues during the product development cycle, keeping in mind scope limitations and the impact of other integrated products; Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience; * 5 years experience as a database developer; * Experience developing database projects using Transact-SQL on SQL Server 2008/2005/2000; * .Net development experience a plus; * Expert-level SQL code and algorithm development and Transact-SQL development skills; * Strong analysis, design, coding and testing skills required (knowledge of SDLC methodologies); * Must be team oriented, deadline driven, self motivated, thorough, articulate, detail-oriented, creative, and personable; and * Able to work independently, but thrive as part of a close knit team. *Must have good knowledge on application security vs end user.
