Please review below requirement and please forward me your consultant profile and contact details to *[email protected]* *Job Title: Perl Developer* *Job Location: King of Prussia, PA * *Duration: 6 Months+*** * * *Job Description:* seeks a Software Engineer (Data Feeds) at our King of Prussia, PA offices to create and manipulate large data exports for marketing and business to business partners. Duties include: build interfaces for importing/exporting 3rd party data feeds leveraging various external formats; develop scripts to enable reporting, monitoring and manipulation of data; engaging/interacting with peer developers and Quality Assurance during the Software Development life cycle; manage image, content and search deployment for multiple web sites; produce documentation of procedures and methodologies related to data programming; create automated content and image loading procedures; explore, research and implement new technologies to increase efficiency for large data set processing; perform database tuning/optimization for large data set environments; implement schema changes for tables and indexes. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master of Science or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematical Science or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer/Developer or Program Analyst; or Bachelor of Science or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematical Science or a related technical field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer/Developer or Program Analyst. SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Experience must include the following: large volume data experience ; troubleshooting experience; performance tuning experience; experience with UNIX/Linux using shell scripting (e.g. C, Korn, KSH, Bourne, BASH), Perl, PL/SQL and regular expression/pattern matching methodologies; experience producing/manipulating large data sets (e.g. XML, CSV, fixed length, etc). Experience with DatStage a plus. Experience may be earned concurrently.
