Location : Washington, DC Duration : 6 Months *Telephonic and Face to Face * Required: - Extensive experience demonstrating skill performing database administration, including database design. - Experience demonstrating skill tuning database applications for maximum performance. - Experience demonstrating skill in supporting oracle databases in distributed platforms (unix/linux, windows etc.). - Experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of the SQL language. - Experience demonstrating skill managing client connectivity to database applications via Database API’s or other middleware products. - Experience overseeing daily work, it systems implementations and projects in a technical leadership role. Experience demonstrating skill establishing strategic engineering directions for it. Experience demonstrating skill effectively communicating and building effective relationships across organizational boundaries. *Preferred:* Experience demonstrating skill supporting ms sql server. Experience demonstrating skill with a PC programming language and unix shell scripting.
