My contact information is below. *Position: 20306 - RF Performance Engineer - Modernization - Norton, MA,* *Duration : 3 Months* *Location : Norton, MA* * * *Job Description: * Responsible for Pre Launch RF Optimization, Post Launch RF Optimization and Performance Management, Site Parameters and Neighbor Planning, Parameters and Neighbor Tune-up, Database / Tools preparation and maintenance, Site Engineering; troubleshooting Ericsson RBS hardware issues/alarms/antenna and feeder issues remotely, Capturing best practices and lessons learned and documenting them, Support Market Team to meet their Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Performance KPI goals, etc. *Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: * • Expertise in UMTS / DC-HSPA+ / EUL / EDGE / GSM Technologies. • Strong experience with Multi Carrier - Multi Band UMTS and GSM Networks. • Expert experience in the understanding, tuning and Optimization of Ericsson UMTS and GSM Parameters and Features. • Strong knowledge of Ericsson UMTS and GSM Performance Counters and KPIs. • Strong working experience in RF shaping optimization, Neighbor List Optimization and Layer Management in Multi Technology / Multi Carrier / Multi Band Networks. • Strong knowledge of Ericsson Multi Technology RBS Configurations. • Experience in swapping RAN Networks from one vendor to another. • Proficiency in RF Engineering Tools like; TEMS, Actix. MS Office, Mapping Tools like Mapinfo, etc. *Preferred skills: * Experience in LTE Pre-Launch and Post-Launch Optimization is a plus *Position: 20326 - RF Engineer III - Modernization - Las Vegas, NV* *Duration : 4 Months* *Location : Las Vegas, NV* * * * Job Description: * Uses solid RF Engineering principles and planning tools to maximize coverage, capacity, and performance of GSM and UMTS radio network. Implementation of new features and network parameter optimization. Routine monitoring and review of radio network Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Work with other engineers and operations to address discovered issues. Participation with federal, state and local jurisdictions to insure regulatory and zoning compliance. Provide Engineering Support to Sales / Customers. Evaluates capacity requirements of radio network and works with other departments to meet growth needs. *Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: * An RF Engineer must use creativity and sound judgment to provide the proper design and optimization of the portion of the network assigned to them. An RF Engineer also has flexibility in managing their workflow on a daily basis. They need to use their discretion on how much time to spend on a task based on the priority set by management. An RF Engineer must have the ability to interface with cross-functional team members to gain the support required to accomplish their assignments. *Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:* •Solid understanding of RF propagation principles, cellular theory, RF engineering tools and antenna theory. •Experience with various drive test units. •Previous experience with FCC and FAA filings and zoning meetings are preferable. •Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. •Strong computer skills.
