Please send me matching candidates [email protected] Role: Senior Data Modeler Location: Denver, CO Duration: 6 months + Start: ASAP Interview: Phone MUST HAVE RECENT HEALTHCARE INSURANCE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE Responsibilities: The Senior Data Modeler will be responsible for tasks that support initially building and on-going development of a data warehouse and related data marts for BI reporting in the Healthcare Insurance industry. Essential skills required: · 7+ years in Information Technology with expertise in Data Modelling for Data Warehouse/Data Mart development, Data Analysis for Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) and Data Warehousing (OLAP)/Business Intelligence (BI) applications. This would include: o Third-Normal Form data models o Data Marts, Subject Area, or Functional Area models o Star and Snowflake schemas o Fact and Dimension tables · Knowledge and experience in process improvement, normalization/de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing, and data manipulation. · Experience with overall SDLC including requirements gathering, development, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation, and production support. · Experience facilitating requirements meetings with business and technical stakeholders to resolve conflicts and drive decisions. · Experience implementing Slowly Changing Dimensions (Type I, II, and III). · Experience and best practices with Metadata management.
